REALLY? Jay-Z Will Not Attend Kanye West’s Wedding? Find Out Why

What happens when your best pal refuses to be in your wedding? Does that indicate that the friendship has been terminated? Rapper Kanye West may be re-evaluating the extent of his relationship with long-time professional pal Jay-Z after the rap and business mogul turned down an invitation to be his best man.

Reports claim Jay-Z initially agreed to be in Kanye’s wedding, but under the condition that he, his superstar wife Beyoncé, and their daughter Blue Ivy Carter are not filmed during the memorable ceremony. Jay-Z, known for being a cut-throat businessman, is probably guarding his family’s brand from E!, the network that bride-to-be Kim Kardashian’s family has established a lucrative partnership with. Jay-Z knows that if he and his family attends Kanye and Kim’s wedding, E! will offer a significant amount of cash to the Kardashian clan to film the occasion. In fact, the network is already allegedly offering the newlyweds a massive payout for the chance to film the wedding. ”Bosses at E! are desperate to get the nuptials on air, and will pay millions to make it happen,” a Daily Star source revealed.

The source also claims that Jay-Z’s primary reason for declining the honor of being Kanye’s best man is because he and his wife despise reality TV shows. “Jay agreed initially but had one condition – under no circumstances can there be any reality TV shows filming him, his wife Beyoncé or daughter Blue Ivy during the ceremony,” the source shared. “She [Beyoncé] purposefully keeps herself away from trashy TV and isn’t prepared to lower her standards for anyone, or any occasion,” the source explained. Ouch! Assuming the source is telling the truth, what should Kanye do?

Kanye’s admiration of Jay-Z was penned in a touching song titled “Big Brother,” where he refers to the rap and business mogul as his “idol” and details how their friendship began. One can only imagine that he’s probably devastated by Jay-Z’s decision.
