Sports analyst, Nana Agyemang, has descended heavily on reports of the imminent return of former Black Stars coach, Milovan Rajevac, declaring that the Serbian should not be allowed to get any where close to the Black Stars.
According to reports that have surfaced in the media, GFA and coach Akwasi Appiah are seeking to bring the former Black Stars coach back to help with preparations towards the world cup in a technical advisory capacity but Nana Agyemang vehemently disagrees with the move.
The former Okwawu United FC coach declared on Radio XYZ that he was not in support of the GFA going for the former stars coach as an advisor to current coach Akwasi Appiah.
“He shouldn’t come anywhere close to the black stars. We don’t want him anywhere near our national treasure. He and his corrupt management company,” he said, at which point the host, Umar-Farouk Atipaga cut him off to prevent him from making further derogatory remarks about the Serbian coach.
Coach Milovan Rajevac qualified Ghana to the 2010 World Cup finals and managed to reach the quarter finals in South Africa. Ghana was only a kick away from getting to the semi-finals at the final whistle but eventually lost to Uruguay on penalties.
